Home orchards love to grow flower trees. The spring season is ideal for growing flower trees. The fruit bearing trees will offer beautiful flowers in autumn season. Pollination is essential to make the flowers survive.

Some flower trees that can be grown in home orchard:

Hibiscus is a bushy tree hat will give beautiful flowers. You can grow them in patios, outside areas etc. It is largely grown in Asia. The flowers may blossom in different colors like red, pink, white and red mixed, yellow and so on. It will flourish in mild climate.

Orchid trees may be either ever green or deciduous. The flowers will grow in mild climate and in large parts of US. The color of the flower may vary from maroon to pink. The shape of the flower is so attractive. The flower may fall in winter climate.

Royal Poinciana is a tropical tree which gives bright orange flowers. The flowers will bloom in bunches and the tree can grow in 40 inches. The tree is ideal for your home orchard as they will not grow much height. You may not do any pruning work for this tree. You can also grow it as potted tree.

Tipu Tipauna is a fast growing deciduous tree which can be grown in tropical climate. It will give gold color flowers in spring season. You can grow in slightly shaded places in your home orchard.

Clusia rosea is another beautiful flower tree that provides pink buds in spring. The flower will later become fruits. It is also called Autograph tree because the children used to write their names on the thick leaves of the tree. The tree is more ideal for any home orchard.

The seeds for these flower plants can be obtained from the nurseries. You can also get from online. You should take care to water the trees. Just sprinkle the water on flower trees. Do not splash water. This will damage the flower. Take adequate care to prevent insects and pests using organic or inorganic pesticides. If you notice the flower bud falls before it blossom then protect the flower from climate, birds etc with the help of small nets. Any flower plant requires adequate sun light. Therefore grow them separately where it can get sufficient sun light.
